Honestly I think they should include a few Wii points with select titles. You know TP could come with like 200 0r 300 points, no it's not much but it would add up over time. Just my opinion though.I agree with you completely. I thought they would actually do that back at launch...but they didn't

Isn't he talking about what Xbox does. Don't you earn points for getting achievements that can be used to buy stuff online?firefox59
No. I don't think achievements do anything.

Then whats the point of having them....just so that you feel a sense of well, accomplishment? Oh well.Honestly I think they should include a few Wii points with select titles.

Eh? You mean like the Nintendo stars that already come with first party games and hardware which you can exchange for Wii points? Or is that only a european thing?
in europe, in a roundabout way...yes. u get stars in some wii games (i think those published by ninty themselves) which u register online. a game is usually 250 stars.
u can exchange the stars for wii points. the exchange rate is about 4 stars:1 point.
i got lostwinds for free since i had a load of stars. got some free FFCC content too. thanks ninty :D.
as far as i know, its only in europe though.
Points = money
Companies don't give handouts.

You obviously missed the part of the thread about Club Nintendo and Europe. I got Dr. Mario and Bubble Bobble for free because of the stars included in their games and hardware and still have 900 Wii points left that I didn't pay for. I thought it works like that everywhere, but I stand corrected now. Makes me feel extra special *rawr*

No, I know all about that
It's the olive branch that Nintendo offers to European users to make up for the fact that they're not a gaming region and they don't get as many games as quickly as the two main regions.
