Is there any chance of seeing a new Wii Zelda at this year E3?

Well I remember when they didn't show brawl at their main conference in 06 but they premiered it on Wednesday or around there so it might be possible, but as it looks right now no they probably wont show anything.

Miyamoto is doing a behind closed doors presentation, not to get your hopes up but in a situation like this a few years ago is where Brawl was unleashed. But its just as likely that he is talking about Wii Music or something lol.

its funny how Galaxy 2 got released earlier to the public than the next console Zelda and whatever Retro is making (as mentioned by Reggie in his post e3 interview at G4)

I really hope so. If previous console's lifecycles are any indication wii's life is running out. Can it be possible that we will have on cycle without starfox, donkey kong, or even zelda!!

I really have hopes for TGS, why ninty doesnt show a reel of game at e3 is beyond my understanding, but they do that at tgs.

aye....they could reveal it later in the year or at e3 next year. either that or they have some really grand plans for the next zelda on wii2.....but i would be very surprised not to see another zelda adventure on the wii.

Completely lame that there was no mention of it... if they are saving it for later at E3, well boo.Zelda Wii is one of my most anticipated games across all consoles. It is a HUGE franchise. It makes them BIG money and going this long without a true Zelda Wii is absolutely ridiculous. (since IMHOTwilight Princess was not Wii but Gamecube) Nintendo I love you but, for the life of me I can't understand why you aren't making more of the games we all want. Stop showing me your innovation and start showing me the fun.

Well given how much people complained about how much Zelda needs to change and everything, it would take longer in development than usual if they are making big changes to the formula. Also even announcing a game is big business they simply may not have wanted to overshadow the announcements they made which Zelda Wii would have done. I don't know, yeah I wanted to see it but we know it coming, its just a matter of when they pull back the curtain, also surpised by the lack of Pikmin 3.

It is sort of a bummer. I think a short teaser at the end of the conference would have been the icing on the cake and made for a near perfect press conference.

No chance. And with Nintendo's whole "announce games and release them more than a year later" thing we saw at today's conference, I'd be surprised if the Wii even sees an exclusive Zelda. Chances are Nintendo will release Zelda at the start of the next Wii's life, so they can release it on both platforms. That can be their new trendy way of milking the franchise.
