This. Red Steel 2 is TOTALLY worth playing. I had a blast with it! Resort can be some serious fun with friends, as well. I can't speak for WiiPlay Motion and other than that, no... there doesn't seem to be any notable use for it... But between RS2, Zelda, and possibly Resort, it's definitely worth the 20 bucks for the add-on to a standard Wiimote. I don't know how hard they are to find in the bundle, but both Resort and RS2 come with the add-on. I've even seen copies of RS2 bundled with the peripheral in the Wal-marts in my area for 20 bucks.Trust me, Red Steel 2 is worth it, It's a ridiculously fun action game.

Wii Sports Resort was lots of fun. Red Steel 2 was okay, although i wouldn't recommend it if you have anything other than a Wii
As said before, Red Steel 2 is very much worth it. Grand Slam Tennis is great if you like tennis games, as is Tiger Woods if you like golf. Conduit 2 is fun while it lasts (I know some people hate HVS), and I am sure that Zelda will be more than worth the cost.
I have seen Red Steel 2 with motion plus still available at some Walmarts for $19.95
That's really helpful, thanks for the replies everyone. Just one other question: are there any games coming out after zelda that will use / need it?tarzanell
Well, seeing as the Wii-U will use Wii Remotes as well, I can only assume that Motion Plus will become the standard next generation for motion-based games.

I highly doubt many games will use the wiimote next gen.

I know you really believe this, but with motion controls available for the other systems and still a part of the control scheme for Wii U, it would seem as though more games will explore motion controls.
We can all agree that the first generation wiimotes were not a as successful as they should have been. They lacked the 1:1 capability that developers and players would have liked, but I think there is still a lot of interest and strong fits for motion controls. Who would want to switch back to playing Tiger Woods on dual axis cotrols after playing it with motion controls? I also believe there are many advantages to FPS and 3rd person games played with motion/pointer controls.
Yes, the new Nintendo console will have a different controller as its focal point, but motion controlled games are only one great game away from becomming globally accepted. Look how many silly guitar or drum controllers sold because of games like Rock Band.
This. And Wii Sports Resort is actually pretty fun. You wouldn't think so, but it is.Trust me, Red Steel 2 is worth it, It's a ridiculously fun action game.

I don't disagree that motion controls are amazing. I don't want to go back to a game pad for stuff like tiger woods or FPS's...let alone a lot of games.
I just don't think developers have any incentive to make motion controled games unless its a mini-game collection. We have had WM+ and Move for over a year now and there's barely any content. I just don't see developers jupping on motion controls, no matter how great they are. I see third party developers porting PS3/360 games and just keeping the same controls. I see nintendo focusing on their new controller instead of their old one.
I don't want to go back to gamepads, but I'm not convinced that publishers want motion controls. There is this image that publishers have that core gamers don't want motion controls.

You'd think so, but seeing as you can only have 1 tablet controller per console, they have to make do for the 3 other players.
What everybody else has said is correct. Red Steel 2 is great fun, and the best use of motion controls in ANY console game, as far as I'm concerned. (Well, until Skyward Sword comes out, anyway.) Wii Sports Resort is pretty fun too, albeit a bit better with two MotionPlus accessories, as you can get a friend in on the action for Table Tennis. Tiger Woods PGA Tour '10 or '11 also got good reviews, if you're into golf games. And so did NHL 2K10, I believe (or one of those years, at least.)
If you haven't gotten one yet, get a bundle or just get the Zelda bundle. It's only $20 for an extra Wii Remote Plus -- and honestly playing without the accessory on the controller will be more confortable.
I'm really surprised to see all the RS2 love in here, really one of the most underappreciated gems in the library
Not really Not many games use the Wii motion plus other than Legend of Zelda skyward Sword, Red steel 2 and Wii Sports resort, Flingsmash and Wii play Motion are the only other wii games to support Wii Motion plus. I hope nintendo has other games planned?
1.Wii play motion (im still waiting for price to go down...its like 20-25$ just for the game..)
2.Red steel 2 (rental imo)
3.Wii sports resort (you need friends and family for this..mine dont like it so i sold it)
4.Zelda
this is it for me..
oh yea..tiger woods game uses it if you like that.
