I heard the Wii controls are actually pretty good and it has real widescreen support which apparently the GC ports didn't.

Both wrong. There are no special Wii controls apart from WiimoteNunchuck support and the game does NOT feature widescreen. So no. The "archives" Version is twice as expensive, has a pretty cover and lets you play with Wiimote/Nunchuck. That is the only difference.

I would get it just because I didn't get it for the Gamecube. Looks like a enhanced version of the Game.

If you want Resident Evil on your Wii and have already played the remake and Zero, go with RE4, Umbrella and Darkside Chronicles. They are all excellent!

Nothing new, both versions are the same. (except for the wii remote/ classic controller support.) I got the wii version, didn't want to get a gc controller and a memory card, blah.

They're on one disc. You don't have to worry about having a GC memory card and controller if you're playing on the Wii. Resident Evil Archieves Zero just came out and is only $30 which isn't much more then buying Zero new.

Is there any way to use codes on the wii versions, like infinite health?

I used that on the ps1 version with my gameshark way back in the day.
