i heard you could use tooth paste but i dunno if thats reliable

The old tooth paste trick really dont work, it simply mith, if you do that chances are that your ds will end messed up.

I Know a way but it works like you cannot see the scratches, i have some scratchs in my DS screens so i buyed a HORI protector, (for the both screens) and my mind blown because the protectors have a filter and when you first stick the protectors on your DS screen you will not see any scratch, just use a Screen protector, Always

Tooth paste works on DVDs and CDs. Here's the technical stuff to it. The minor acid in the tooth paste files down the scratch to the same level as the rest of the normal unscratched part, hence making the scratch disappear.
