but yeah adding a new colour would slow down production, not by much but nintendo are pushed to produce as many as possible since its sold out world wide. when sales begin to slow down, they can release a new colour to spark new interest again. the Ds and the Ps2 did this.
Maybe in a year or so, when demand for these things finally slows down and the Wii reaches its saturation point (though some would argue, viably, that what makes the Wii so successful is that there is no real saturation point), then maybe they'll start making some new colors for pepole that care enough to purchase them.
Just get a skin or a case from decal-girl and quit whining. It will take a very long time until wiis are easier to get. And like the guy said somewhere above me when the sales go down, they will release new colors to spark up sales such as the DS and ps2.
For some reason I remember seeing an Ad for wii's about a year ago, with a Black one present. Could have just been a skin though. But look how long it took them to get colors on the n64, it wasn't until well into the systems life that colors were an option, and they weren't even all that widespread.
aww man, i was about to say that!! anyway they said that they wouldnt make new colours until sales slow down, dont expect new colours within the next year.
Nintendo would do it just thinking about the market, if the sales were doing bad, they would come up to something to boost it...and maybe would be new colors, or something like it.... Since the sales are doing fine, I doubt they will do something like it...at least for some time on....
I'd like it if they made a Black Wii that had a few changes from the normal Wii besides color. Nothing compleatly revolutionary, just things like a bigger harddrive, better menu, ect.
