Is this normal for the ds to do?

when I charge my ds, the light goes red, but when I play it right after it's been charged only one light is green, not both.
is that normal?
i could swear that both lights turned green when you play it.

also when its losing energy what warning does it give? or does it just shut off during game play?

Also the DS doesn't give you a warning when it's running low on power. Look at the green light and when that turns red it means it's got about an hour left. After a while the red light will start flashing meaning you only got about 10 mins left before it shuts itself down so when that happens chargre your DS. However when online with your DS you'll lose power twice as fast and it's hard to tell when it's going to shut off so to be on the safe side keep it charged at all times when you go online.
