i've been thinking about this for a while. Is wifi enough for online gaming? i think it might lag too much. Is nintendo going to come out with sometype of a lan connector for the wii? I mean I really wanna play stuff online, but i don't want it to lag too much...

I begin to think it's a myth that wi-fi = lagging. Today, technology had been advanced and wi-fi had changed since the last years. I'm sure that Wi-Fi will be standard soon.

I bought my router and I had no problems at all to connect. It took me 2-3 minutes to update and download my first download: Super Mario Bros. Europeans say they are fine with Super Mario Strikers Charged online.

Really, I'm not worry at all.

It's a complete myth that wireless has anything to do with lag. Lag comes from your internet service provider and it's ability to get the signal to and from your connection as fast as possible.

Speed is also another non issue, almost no one has a internet connection that can max out a wireless B router, that number is much smaller when we talk about wireless G. You'll never even get close to the speeds that people are worried about.

Get yourself a good router (20-50 dollars) set it up correctly, and you'll have the best possible setup for your online experience

with 802.11g, wireless can do 52Mb/s and Super G can do 108 Mb/s, thats more than fast enough for me, and pretty much any other internet user.

Good point, but I really think that they will update the servers and possible update or release some connector for it  - www.nintendo.co.uk.
