I got a wii and wiisports that came in the box is in the cheap paper made fold thing that is held shut with tape. yet i see others that are default game cases.
You see the case because 1 of 2 reasons:Â UK got Wii sports in a case, 2) most people make their own (enlarged printed paper in a game case). Don't worry, you didn't get ripped off or anything.
U.S. and Canada got cardboard as for the rest of the world they got the sweet plastic case (sigh). I put mine in a disney movie case cause it was white and printed off a cover online. The cardboard scratches the game pretty bad.
the cardboard case, then just put it in an old CD case so as not to scratch the disc so much. Yeah, Japan, Europe and Australia got theirs in the plastic CD case.

Exactly, just like Wii Play comes in a box in the US, and is in a paper fold in Europe (I believe they got Wii Play as a packin instead of Wii Sports... correct me if I'm wrong).
