Isn't it obvious kingdom hearts 3 will come to Wii?

Disney, is primarily aimed at children. Wii is full of children (hopefully they will not buy madword).

Why on earth would disney not want it on the Wii?

Square pays more attention to the 360 and PS3 at the moment. It could go to any console at this point.

If disney were alone in making KH3, then there would be no surprise in having a Wii version... (Disney would probably go for as many consoles as possible actually)

But Square Enix must also be considered.

Overall, there certainly is a very good chance we may be seeing a Wii KH eventually, but I'm skeptical as to whether it'll be KH3 or not. It could be, but just remember the main numbered KHs have both been playstation exclusives so far. Square Enix may try to continue this with KH3.

Considering the amount of titles SquareEnix has put out on consoles this generation, I'd be surprised if Kingdom Hearts 3 ever makes it out this generation.

A bit presumptious aren't we? Have you played Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2? Except for the visuals, I don't think either of those games actually cater to "children." I also don't think the Wii is meant to cater to just "children" either. The Wii just happens to encompass a greater audience.Arkk_Angel

It depends what the developer is aiming for. Its possible for it to be released on any of the consoles tbh.

KH is one of my favourite series ever! Its no more of a button masher than lets say, Zelda.

What the TC is saying makes perfect sense. A lot of kids own Wiis, and Kingdom Hearts is very popular among children. The Wii has a larger user base than either the 360 or PS3, so it would make sense to market to Wii owners. Besides, Dragon Quest X has already been anounced as a Wii exclusive, so there is certainly precendent for a move like this.

Personally, I've been expecting to hear Kingdom Hearts III announced for the Wii for a long time now. It just keeps looking more and more likely as time goes by.

Without getting into SW territory (yes, we are reaching that point) its any ones guess as to where its going. I'll say though that like previously mentioned in this thread Nomura is a Sony fanboy and he will have a great influence.

Their policy this gen is to make more games for all consoles this gen. That includes the Wii, hence the fact that the GC had one game by Square-Enix, and now we are getting 6 (FFCC: TCB, FFCC: EOT, FFF: Chocobo's Dungeon, FFCC: MLAAK, DQ: Sword and DQ X).

They sales of the Wii probably had quite a bit to do with this, as did the costs in making games for the other two consoles.

Hence, there is actually a decent chance of Kingdom Hearts being on the Wii. It just depends on where exactly they want to go with the series. Dragon Quest was less of a surprise because the series has always stayed true to its roots, kept things simple and didnt push graphics or hardware to the extreme. Final Fantasy has a lot recentlyon the other hand, with a large budget and high production values. KH im not too sure, ive yet to play one.

SE certainly have given BETTER support to the 360 and PS3 so far. But things could change, and it is most certainly possible KH could go to any console. But my money is on either the Wii or PS3.

We may never know. They could go anyway with this. Lets just wait and see. But it is a positive thought to keep a mind on.

Don't let the Disney characters fool you. Kingdom Hearts is a distinguished and challenging Action/RPG series.

But if it's your frame of mind that gets it to come to Wii, then i guess that's OK with me.

Does this tell anyone anything: Square Enix makes a psp version of Final Fantasy 13 and not one for the Wii now that is just plain sad lol.

I highly doubt that KH3 is going to be an exclusive. Profit is more important than pleasing a small percentage of fans.

I have always though that Kingdom Hearts was a perfect fit for the Wii and I still do. It will be one heck of a day if SE announces KH3 Wii exclusive, System Wars will go wild. But I think there's a good chance we might get it, FF exclusive to 360/ps3 and KH exclusive to Wii? Sounds good to me but like what others have said, the KH dev is a sony fanboy and KH has always been on the Playstation.
