Issue with The Conduit

Reccently I needed a shooter to play, so I decided to get the Conduit again.

In the multi-player, you know, usual, I search for a match, but half the time when I actually get into the game, I get trapped at some sort of messed up screen. Most of the time, it's just a black screen with my HUD there, the game's not frozen, becuase I can still hear everyone else in th background. When it goes into this, I can't do anything, can't pause, can't bring up the scoreboard, nothing. The only way out of it is to reset my Wii. This is happening often and it's really irritating me.

The copy I bought is a used copy, so I don't know if it may be the disk. Any help would be appreciated.

All of the copies do that, it isn't because it is used. The game just sucks that bad.

Yeah it's just an annoying glitch. My screen never went black though, when it happens to me I find it faster to wait the rest of the match out and get into the next match than shutting off my Wii and trying to get into another game.

But here's the thing, nearly EVERYONE picks Marathon most of the time, so mostly I don't feel like leaving it there for 15-20 minutes just so I can finally play.

Yeah its a normal glitch unfortunately. Supposedly if you hold forward on the nunchuck and keep the remote pointing at the screen before you're first match is able to load it will stop it. So far it has worked for me but I've only tried it about 3 times, so it could just be luck. High Voltage is trying to fix the glitch but say its hard due to Nintendo's patchless system. At least the glitch only happens when you first connect to a match, once you are in even when a new match starts you won't get stuck anymore. It is a really fun game once you get past all the horrible glitches that should have been caught ahead of time.

like i said many times b4 conduit was released the game wont b good the online is okay for the first few matches then get dumb glitches kill the games n not being able to sprint online the graphics are blah all around other then ford hand n the gun models

the game feels very dated and is missing very basic things that are standards in fps online games

Um, everyone keeps saying that it's a glitch, but ever since I port-forwarded my router, that glitch has gone away for me.

Check the Nintendo support website for how to set up your ports for your Wii. Not only did it make the "spawn in wall" glitch in The Conduit go away for me, but it also made my shot-registration issues go away in Call of Duty: World at War.

Just some food for thought.

PS: I saw no change in Mario Kart Wii's performance, which was always excellent. I think it all has to do with how the game functions online. I think that maybe The Conduit & Call of Duty always host "something" on the client's side, which would make port-forwarding vital for any Wii connected to a router that includes a built-in firewall.

Why the heck d'ya buy The Conduit if you have a 360 and Modern Warfare?:P
