Hey all! I just got my Nintendo Wii and I'm having a blast! Thinking about the system i started thinking how this system is most likely to fail sadly... The main thing that makes me feel like this is the "kiddie" games that overpopulate the Wii and how no exciting games are coming out for the Wii for a while (howvever if you think of a good one please put it on here so i can check it out lol). So basically I'm asking your spin on the system and if their are going to be on exciting games coming out soon.
Well if you r in the U.S then Metriod Prime 3 comes out in one week which is not kiddie at all. Um. Zelda Twilight Princess has been out forever. Mario Strikers Charged isn't kiddie it just a plain kick azz soccer game trust me. HELLO Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. That's the only bloody gory un-kid friendly game ever on Wii. So trust me there are good games out that aren't kiddie.
Good lord this kiddie thing has gotten out of hand. There are many games coming this year that will be great whether or not they are kiddy or not to someone else I will be buying and enjoying them.

Anyway, how about you drop the kiddie thing and start considering fun games... Who cares if you can blow peoples heads off or cut off limbs or whatever, if its not fun, your not going to play it. RE4 Wii is the best of both worlds though. Blow zombies heads off, have fun while doing it, good storyline, great controls, what more can you ask for...
The end of this year will be great for games. Metroid will be awesome and Mario Galaxy will be fantastic. Super Smash brothers will also be a hit. It's next year that worries me. Mario Kart, sure. Then what? What can Nintendogive us that will engagethemore "hardcore" gamer? It seems as though theyare doing finewith the casual folk, so you can't blame them for catering tothat audience. Hopefully they won't forget who got them this far.
if you really believe that these games are too kiddy maybe its just ur imagination or something. Im 17 years old and i still love these cooking mama games and mario games. In my opinion the only games that should be considered kiddy are like seseme street games or something but honestly the wii has an awesome lineup of games in my opinion.
what a game looks like should have no influence on whether or not you want to play it. Kingdom hearts is one of my favourite series of all time, yet it has disney all over it. I love the fact that you revisit different disney locations, and it brings back memories of my childhood. Go ahead, call it kiddie, i love it to death.
As for 'mature' Wii games, Manhunt 2 comes to mind, so does metroid prime 3, disaster day of crisis, no more heroes, and apparently some new game made by capcom yet to be reviled (IGN Podcast.)
