When you think of "pearl" you think of something girly right? It makes you think of something pink and sparkly and whatnot, therefore it seems like a lot more people would get Daimond. I look at both games the same though. Anyway just a prediction.

Everybody thinks everyone is getting diamond (im geting it). so some people r gonna be o well i getting pearl so i can trade online to get diamond pokemone eaiser. So i think its gonna even out. Nieter of them will be SOLD OUT or they both wiell. I think sales will be nearly even with maybe a few more to diamond
i have a system goin on with my cousin since the Red and Blues. When i get one version he would get the other. The nice thing is that he lets me choose which version to get. This time around, i chose diamond, so he got pearl.
They thing happened with Pokemon Blue/Red, and Ruby/Saph. Everyone thought red was a cooler color than blue, then it sort of happened again when people thought Ruby was a girly color, but not as big of a gap that time.

Personally I think the cover for Pearl looks cooler but I'm gonna get Diamond because I like the exclusives better. I don't think Pearl is girly at all and anyone who doesn't want to get a game because it's "girly" needs to grow up.

Thats what me and my bro have been doing. He got Blue so I got Yellow. He got Gold so I got Silver. He got Leaf Green so I got Fire Red. He's getting Diamond so I'm getting Pearl. He always gets to pick first though but he usually picks the one that I don't want so it all turns out good.

Does the color really affect how you would play the game? If someone doesn't want to play Pearl becuase the title is "girly" then they have to be pretty insecure.

alright man, so go play a barbie game, you should enjoy it because being girly doesn't effect it at all. you can't say you won't play it because it's a horrible game either, because i see girls playing every game coming out of the franchise and loving it.

Yep you basically nailed it,i'm getting Pearl mainly because everyone else seems too be getting diamond,also i prefer the look of the legendary Pokemon in that version on that box art is better imo.
