It was this time last year, that the boards exploded.

Because of one little word. 'Wii'. A collective 'WTF WERE YOU THINKING NINTENDO?' responce from the public and nintendo fans, fanboys went as far to say that Nintendo will rectify this 'mistake' at E3 2006 by revealing the TRUE name. lol.

So how do you feel about the name now almost-exactly 1 year on? How long did it take for you to get used to it? I still think to this day that the name sucks, but like 'Game Boy', I'm used to it. I still semi-cringe when I tell people who haven't heard of Wii yet though.

Its still ridiculous.. hehe.. but it's grown on me.

But I think as a Nintendo fan I like the fact that Ninty chose a simple interface and a simple name to be accessable to the masses.

So the name doesn't bother me at all.

I didn't really liked until I knew its meaning and its concept. So I didn't like for about... 10 minutes lol.

Brilliant name.

For anyone who doesn't like the name, what would you have called it?

And please don't say "Revolution". That's just too lame for a console name.
