So if I was ever to make a Wii game, I had some plans in my head for a game.
So it's called "Ultimate Baseball Bat" (yes crazy) and it involves you running through a game entirely with baseball bats hitting things in all different ways with the Wiimote. You start out as a retired pro baseball player who's just really mad. Yeah just mad. Keep in mind it's a mindless game.
So I had some plans for this game to be inspired by Serious Sam and the crazy useless and fun way those games played. But here, you run around San Francisco starting at SBC park (the Giants park). You run into other baseball players and get into these duels with them in bat form, but this time the Wiimote moves more fluidly with your hand unlike the crappy Red Steel swordfighting. Z buttom does a skip and you can swing your hand at the right time when you do that skip to get a stonger hit. Pressing C then making the nunchuck swing up at the right time makes you flip (where C just lets you jump and swinging actually does the flip). Then you can swing with the flip to hit someone harder with the flip as you land. You can also do it with running up a wall. Drinking from soda machines gets more health.
Basically the rest of the game has you smashing cars and breaking into stores and breaking as much stuff as possible. I thought the whole novelty of the game would be it having sweet damage effects (but the Wii might not do it well...) and a lot of the fun was around the realistic way everything smashes.
