A) 512 MB Flash Memory - and it's enough.
B) So Far, So Good, oh sooooo good. TP & MP3 are 2 of my favorite games. And if Galaxy is anything like these 2 we are in for a treat. Zelda gave me 60 hours and has replay value if you want to go back and get everything. It's like an RPG. Metroid has given me16 hours so far and I'm only 39% through the game. Plus like Zelda it has side missions and secrets and such. So it has replay value for that. But down the road like past Mario, Resident Evil, Final Fantasyand Zelda games, I will definitely play them again because I love them, whether they are long or not.
C) Each sytem has a number, so you get your friends codes and input them. That way you can play against each other, etc, etc.
D) Yes, but only for some games. For SNES - definitely. For me it was no brainer. One thing that really intrigued me about the Wii was being able to play the games like I used to play as akid in the same way. If you really want to immerse yourself in nostalgia like me, then it's a definite. But you don't need to do it. But some games aren't compatible with just the wiimote and some feel strange on the Gamecube controller (Like Street Fighter 2).
E) Well most I played and/or had as a child, so I tend to but the ones I used to have or the ones I still have but don't work anymore. NES games rarely ever play because my NES is in bad shape. My SNES and the games work, but the save files don't last, they erase automatically because they are old. And my 64 is headed in the same direction.
But I never had a TurboGrafx-16 or a Neo-Geo so testing out these games is pretty fresh and original. But I have less knowledge of what games were good and the ones that were good and still can be.
But to answer your question, Yes. There are some amazing games in the back catalog of all these companies that for someone who hasn't played them (or maybe you have) is a amazing offer. For the people who may have never played any of the games on the Virtual Console, you may very well have it better than any of us "old guys" who have. You get amazing games unbeknowst to you that were, are and will always be phenomenal. And you get them at a cheap price. But you also will get some crappy games, or games that haven't aged well. The best bet to avoid this happening is to ask some people you trust for advice on what to buy, read reviews, stick to what you know or ask any family members who may have played them before.
I think I have 22 VC games, most of them are still good after all these years. Proof of that is my nephews are playing them for the first time, and I get to watch them have a blast with the games I loved as a kid. It's amazing. The VC is one of the best parts of the Wii, no other systremsDownloads are this good.
