As a fan of the sport, the greatest most popular worldwide, Im worried that either FIFA or WINNING ELEVEN will not continue their franchises on to the white box. I would prefer Winning Eleven, which is far more superior, but being a new installment with totally different control schemes, I really dont care which of them takes the risk.

Since the Wii came out Ive dreamed of it, having an attachment to your leg, a sort of a strap, or heck I dont care buying a special set with 2 wii motes for both feet....kicking slowly for passing, fast for power shots, curves, jump for headers, shaking your feet for dribbling....it would be wonderful, dont ya think? itll surely be revolutionary, hence even though I dont see a concrete possibility.

*head explodes*

I can agree with this to some extent because they're so simulation based, but if you're a real fan of football then you should want to play them. FIFA is a little more on the arcadey side which most people prefer, less pain than PES/W11.

Exactly I don't like Football (Unless American) it just doesn't appeal to me. I like Strikers though cause it's Mario.

The only Soccer game that I enjoyed was Nintendo World Cup on the NES. You have the characters of River City Ransom and you can beat each others without having a red card. If the game goes to the VC, go download this thing. You'll laugh and have fun.

Sensible World Of Soccer 2.0 is still one of the greatest games ever made but the re-release is going to be XBLA and Vista only, not that its a big problem but would be fantastic for the VC too. Codemasters want to make it available for multiple platforms and I hope that means more than just XP/Mac (omg a DS version would own). If you had to own any version of the series this would be it, so deep, so very deep.

I managed to download a copy and am ploughing through it again now, ahh the memories. I do actually have the original but I can't find the damn thing, you also have to bend over backwards to get it running on XP.

Just thought I'd add that :D

But I would give it a shot if it ever comes to the VC or DS...

Winning ELeven 11/Pro Evolution 7  has been confirmed for the Wii. I am very excited about it, one of my favourite games of all time. Of course, many Americans are not into it because soccer is not big in the US even though it is the most popular/thrilling sport for billions of fans.

Isn't FIFA coming to the Wii?

Anyway, although what you said was fun, having to shake your leg constantly to dribble and jumping to do a header would get tiring after a while.Â
