The Wii already has quite some great games. I'd say all of the traditional Nintendo games are definitely worth it (and they are quite a bunch), and it's not too hard finding a 3rd-party game of your liking. Apart from that, the Wii also has the most interesting selection of games in their download service if you ask me.

But to directly answer your question: yes, there are going to be more great games, only we don't know when. Pikmin 3 has been the most-mentioned game, so I guess that'll be the next major Nintendo-published title if you don't count the casual ones, and it's also been confirmed that the Zelda- and Mario teams are working on new games, only we know next to nothing about it yet.

Im tired of listing the many, many great games for the Wii in all of these topics. Please do some research before saying it has no good games.

Also why spell is "iz", its not even a shortened version that saves time, its just making an error for no good reason.

The number of times that this question gets asked is one of the things that compelled me to sticky this thread. :P

Why in the world 'iz' this thread sticky worthy? The Wii has plenty of good games out, it just depends on what kind of game iz your bag and how compelled you are to actually go out and buy them, I finally got Mario Kart Wii the other day, and I'd be lying if I tried to say I wasn't having a blast with Mario Kart, Brawl, Wii Sports, RE4, Wario Ware, as well as Strikers and Wii Fit (The reason I mention the last two separately is because I don't own them but play whenever I'm with my friends) The Wii has great long standing games, if you're the type of person who just likes to beat a game and put it on the back burner then the Wii isn't really a good console for you.

Also, the DS has a better haul of games because it's been around longer, and you can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure has sold more units worldwide than any other gaming console currently on the planet (aside from the PS2)

Secondly, who cares about making 360 and PS3 owners jealous? If you want jealous their mouths have to be watering over the fact that Ninty flat out owns the local multiplayer market, it's not even close.

umm.... there is The Conduit coming out on March 31, 2009. Also there is Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon coming out later (don't know when). there's more but i don't really feel like thinking too hard. Right now there is Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 (which has 32-multiplayer online), Okami, and No More Heroes

Well they aren't gonna get much worse than they are already.

Wii has about 5 games worth playing. SSBB(If you have wifi), LoZ twilight, Galaxy, Okami, and MP3.

This is just my appinion, so don't get all pissy.

Your problem along with a lot of other people is you think nintendo is competing with other companies. Nintendo used the snes to compete against the sega gen and the play station they used the N64 against the Playstation as well. They used the gamecube to compete against the dreamcast and the ps2 and the xbox. but with the wii nintendo simply attack an audience that they feel no one else is attacking and because they feel no one else is attacking that audience they feel no need to compete with the other systems. no need to release a halo killer or a gears killer or a God of war killer. They are fighting against no1 which is why the Wii is selling so well for the audience they want there is no choice there is only the wii

lets be honest if the wii didnt have brawl or mario kart it would pretty much not be worth gettin (to an extent) this is the way i see the top games (wii exclusives)

"truly" top titles

mario kart

ssb brawl

mario galaxy

metroid havn't played smooth moves or paper mario cn't coment

thts it really doesn't look to good if you ask me, no where near competing with any console past or present even with the wiimote considered, but i do love kart and brawl (the Wii saviours)

DONT MENTION THE GAMECUBE PORTS THTS JUST IMBARISING THEY WERE MADE FOR THE GAMECUBE NOT THE Wii THEREFORE I WILL NOT ECEPT THOSE GAMES AS AN EXCUSE FOR THE Wii HAVING MORE "TOP" TITLES

why are you making it sound so complecated, theres games that are fun to play and theres games that arnt. SIMPLE. when you pick up a conroller to play a game all what matters is how much enjoyment you get from the game, that is wat sholud determine if a console is "good" or not. it just happens that other consoles on the market have a larger catalogue of enjoyable games

wasnt complicated to me it was just the 1st thing that popped into my head the 1st post mentioned so much about competion and the last line was about making owners of the other systems jealous. I was simply saying that people with other systems will never be jealous because the reason that they dont have a wii is because the wii was not geared for them. The ps3 and 360 are geared toward the same people so when a game is exlusive one one people that own the other will most likey be like "aw man i wish it would come out on mine"
