I'm sure you can see that if you bought the game new rather than buying it used, the dev would see that sale and a profit from it. So by buying it used, what's actually happening is that the dev is losing a sale. Can you not see how this is no different from the developer's perspective than if you illegally downloaded the game and got it for free online, which is exactly what EpicGamerGirl was discouraging when you agreed with her? Not only that, but your resale doesn't count to the total number of copies of the game sold, and thus won't go towards boosting the pitiful number of total copies the game sold. That means that by illegally downloading or buying used, you're ensuring that more games like this won't be made for DS because the platform will be seen as not viable for mature games.
Good to know. By the way, clicketyclick, I totally agree with you, but I would like to make a minor correction: Chinatown Wars hasn't sold a 'pitiful' number, but has crossed 800k copies sold, and is now, in fact, nearing a million. Pretty impressive.
I guess I'm the only one that didn't like it. I might not be so down on it if the cut scenes weren't unbearable due to the reading factor. If it was something worth reading it'd be alright... but it's not. =\
Also, walking and running is hard to get use to, never works quite like it should. I get sick of zig zagging all over the damn place. Lame.
