Hey guys, my brthday is coming up in two weeks and ill be getting a wii! *cheer*

Ive started to look at packages as it ends up cheaper than buying the game seperate, and the top games in a package look to be Metroid prime 3, Zelda or mario strikers charged. (all in differant packages)

I was wondering wich game would be best as a first game on wii kind of thing - this is also my first consoul as ive been a PC gamer all my life! *long live the pc!*

Anyway i would appreciate some help! Another games wich sort of interested me where Cooking mama: the cook off.

Realy thanks for help to anyone who will post!

Alex

I'd go with either Zelda or Metroid as your first game, just depends on what you want in a game more.

Zelda is a lengthy adventure game with a few clever control schemes with the Wii's remote, like precise aiming by pointing at the screen.

Metroid on the other hand is the first title to truely implement the Wii's potential when it comes to more hardcore games. The controls are near perfect, I hold it as high as a mouse and keyboard. Not as long as Zelda game length wise, but just a s fun.

Personally I prefer Zelda over Metroid, slightly, it just depends on what you're into.

Game recommendations are only allowed in the stickied thread at the top of the forum, sorry.

You can repost this in there, but I'd suggest skimming the reviews of each of those games first. That should give you a good idea about what kind of game each one is and which you'll most enjoy.

Good luck on your decision, congratulations on getting a Wii soon, and happy birthday in two weeks! :)
