Me too, actually. It's weird, I had no trouble with either of the two PS2 games on Normal difficulty (except with maybe a handful of bosses, like Riku in KH1 and the Organization members in KH2) , but Standard in this game is kicking my ass. Anyone else?
I didn't have any problems, save for some bosses, [spoiler] Basically just the Dustflier, and I didn't understand how to beat that tank (day 171) the first time. [/spoiler] and I was playing through on proud
Yeah i thought it was pretty difficult on my first playthrough. I've found myself button mashing a lot though. SO i guess try to ease up on the button mashing and try dodging more?
The game is definitely harder on Normal than the console KH games. I got my butt kicked early on in the game, I noticed though that even at a high level you still take a lot of damage.
Ahh, thanks for the info, guys. I knew it was definitely tougher than the PS2 games. Maybe I'll try it again on Beginner (as lame as it sounds, lol). You're right about button mashing, though; you can get away with it on the other KH games, but I guess I'll actually need to take my time in this one. Enemies seem to rip through your HP pretty fast.
I do want to get through it. It's interesting playing through as the "bad guys" and seeing things from their perspective.
it's ok i guess... i did die a few times but never frustrating... played it in standard mode... and yes, i think button mashing is the way lol... but on some it won't work
