I have not played it since the NES days but I read another topic that said it was very hard, I am sure the gameplay is like Super Mario Bros.wooooodeWrong, it's like Metroid!

Correct!
Both wrong, it's like BOTH!
Try it out. The graphics may be dated, but it's hella fun!

Only for some levels. If I remember it also has some levels in side scrolling like Super Mario Bros.
Kid Icarus FTW!!!Â
it's incredibly hard. if you've ever though kirby was cool at all, buy kirby. because it's fun to play instead of rediculously frustrating.Breakfast_ClubberKI is hard but far from "ridiculously frustrating". I'll admit, it takes a fair deal of practice, and is one of the hardest games on VC, but the challenge is part of what makes it fun. For 500 points you can get a true classic, in its original glory and challenge. Its a great game. Give it a chance. Once you get past the first few levels the challenge lessens, though that isn't really saying much. Kirby is the exact opposite, incredibly easy.

It's a great game, but it's obvious that it came out in 1987--not by the graphics (okay, that too), but by the challenge.
Bottom line: if you find Halo, Twilight Princess, etc. challenging, then you need not apply. This is how we used to play games.
