so i have 1500 wii points and im saving 1000 for a n64 game and i cant seem to decide wether i should get kid icarus or kirby ive never played either of em or should i just wait.... any suggestions?

If you want to one right away, get Kid Icarus. Kirby's Adventure is good and you can just get later.

Kid Icarus is like the old NES games....you get a short prolouge to the story and that is it! period.

then it is like metriod in that you go up a shaft-like level (only up tho, going back down kills you)

then you beat the "level" and go into a dungeon. there you can explore a network of rooms linked by doors (left and right) and ladders (up and down)

bosses follow, then another level.

the mechanics are very simple... you can shoot left rigth and up. but, like metriod, your initial shot distance is really limited.

and, despite the fact he has wings, flying is not a basic move. you earn that much later

all and all, i think this game is more a collectors item. it is really hard and will probably not match well with current expectaions for games i.e. you die, then restart from a checkpoint or something.

game overs set you all the way back unless you use the passwords....but, you lose all your power ups which like gradius..means you are DOA in later levels to start w/o power ups

Get Kid Icarus, Kirby's Adventure has already been remade as Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland.

i think i'll just wait till next week and if nothin bettr comes out from nes then ill get kid icarus thanks for the help

kirby's adventure is possibly one of the best games i have ever played!!when i was little that was all i played 4 endless hours!!If u havnt already gotten it on the gba then get it now! trust me i just got kid icarus 2day and comparing the 2 and kirby is so much more fun and the password nsystem does not work on the vc release of kid icarus which is a major drawback

Just get both. It'll be a while before we see anymore N64 games on VC.

get kirby's adventure if you have ever liked a platformer or kirby. this game is way ahead of it's time and holds up nicely. kid icarus... is frustrating.
