Hi all, I am a n00b to this forum and hope someone can help.

I just got my 5 yr old a DS along with the Over the Hedge game. It's a great game but there is wayyyy too much reading involved for him, so I'm stuck having to play the entire game with him.

Anybody have any recommendations for games for kids that involve little or no reading?

Thanks a million!

DO NOT GET ELITE BEAT AGENTS for a 5 year old. Maybe Kirby Squeak Squad.

um... i don't think a five YR. old should get kirby's bcuz it might be too frustrating for him since he's a young gamer... what about Kung Fu Panda? there is very very low text in that game....(my nephew owns it) and speed racer. Stick with the movie games bcuz i don't think he's big enough to play pokemon. ( i played pokemon as a 5 yr. old )

You think a 5 year old should be listening to La La by Ashely Simpson?

But I think you should get Kirby Squeak Squad. My cousin loves that game. Also lego star wars the complete saga. It's not exactly a kids game but it is pretty easy.

But mario 64 has tons of reading!!! Everyboss you have to go through 5 pages of text.

New Super Mario Bros. It can be played and enjoyed by everyone, and no reading. Plus, it's a really awesome game.

For future reference, please use the Game Recommendation Thread for all questions about what games to get. Thanks :).
