Kinda dumb

Doesn't it seem kinda dumb that if the rumor is true, that the next wii will have ps3 graphics in 2011, because then there'll be a ps4 coming out at the same time with graphics upgraded from the ps3. Nintendo should just make it so the next system has as good graphics as the rest of the systems will, just like they said they would.

Don't believe every rumor you hear.

If anything, the next Nintendo system will be even less powerful than the 360/PS3. Nintendo has shown that you do not need cutting edge technology to win a console war.

Also why would nintendo make the next console have amazing graphics?

1.) it will make the system cost more, which won't appeal to their casual gamers.

2.) The wii is a huge success and guess what? it's got the worst graphics.

Who said the next console is even going to be anything like the Wii? 2011, that's 3 years away. Now 3 years before the Wii, there was nothing revealed about the motion sensing controls or casual appeal. And the whole graphics problem, yeah I don't see graphics getting much more better than they are now. Right now the PS3 and Xbox 360 have fantastic 3D graphics capabilities, which I consider to be the greatest ever, because every new game coming out for the two systems have fantastic graphics, it's really hard to go wrong. So a Wii with graphics like PS3 would be great. Oh yeah, and the whole fact that casual gamers are turned of by HD is completely wrong. A majority of my friends are casual gamers, and they like what they see on the 360 and wish for it on Wii. So don't get to jumpy, wait a while and ask more questions!Nintend0-BuDDy

I think the most realistic scenario, would be that nintendo's next system would have graphics that are in-between what it is now and what PS3 graphics look like.

It is very true that good graphics don't make a good game, but come on! They certainly would be welcome. The only system I own is a wii, and i love it, but some wii owners are so self-righteous that they seem like they wouldn't even want better graphics.

it's too early to be hearing true info about a next gen console after the wii. but, the next console should try to update graphics. i mean, c'mon. it's true that good graphics don't guarantee good games, but it's not like they have much left to work on, and more importantly nintendo has the money.

i don't see a need for ps4 and the future xbox to work on graphics any more than they already have. not many people i know even see a difference between HD and bluray, and it just makes games that much more expensive to make.

Well they did say that the system will have Next Gen graphics. soooo uh yeah how is this a rumor. And it will have a holographic data storage system, AND the name is WIIHD. Remeber the N64. that had the most advance graphical capabilities, the only thing holding it back was its use of carthridges, and lack of RAM. I rly wouldnt call it a rumor. I would say the real question would be, Which console will have better Next Gen Graphics? Im pretty sure it will have Next Gen graphics to compete with other next gen consoles.
