Its porbably my favorite DS game, surpassed expectations.
Graphics and sound are excellent.
The gaemplay is awesome to, just the missions get repetive but nothing major.
Did it meet/surpass your expectations

This game also got me back into DS gaming.
I got pokemon and liked it just couldnt finish it (although i did play it 60 horus so i dont regret the buy)
I also got Ninja Gaiden and liked it, i just got stuck and never played it.
But im tempted to buy more DS games, and finish Ninja Gaiden.
Very happy i bought this game over buying Demons Souls (long story which i wont bother explaining)
Thought it was bad.
Didn't like the controls, and it takes too long to actually really start up the game after those long boring tutorials.
Maybe if I play more of it I'll like it, but for now this whole mission based thing sucks.

The tutorials were really slow...but after that the missions are alright. It seems like they focused more on the portable aspect of the game. Definitely worth the purchase so far.

I agree. It took me a solid 3 months to finally get the balls to play through Kingdom Hearts 2's intro. What a dang snore fest!
It's about as great as Kingdom Hearts on the DS should be. It's the best 3D effort I have seen on the system, no doubt. I like the mission structure for a handheld game, the story is interesting and feeds in well with KHII. I don't really like playing through worlds I have already been to and the boring tutorials really hurt my initial impressions of the game. The controls were annoying at first, but I think they work fine now. Everybody - SWITCH TO CONTROL TYPE B! It makes the game so much more playable. NAPK1NS
Definitely Control Type B...it's more of a traditional style camera.
To reiterate what everybody as been saying:
Other probelms with it:
Despite all those negatives there are somepositives:
those alone are enough to overshadow any flaw this game hasTo reiterate what everybody as been saying:
- Repetitive missions
- Controls aren't very goodbut you get used to them after a while
- Tutorials are painful to get through
Other probelms with it:
- Leveling system is horrible
- Partners are useless
Despite all those negatives there are somepositives:
- Good graphics
- Great story
- Good combat
- Good variety of missions

Perhaps this'll qualify me as a troll, but I stopped caring about Kingdom Hearts after it started being less about Disney and more about (my favorite term to describe the game) "angsty teenage girl-men."
Plus, they're easy as pie. The gameplay is fairly entertaining, though.
^ yup ur a troll get lostreaver-x
He's entitled to an opinion just as much as you are. If anything, I'd call you the troll.

Yeah, I get where you're coming from. I didn't like the style of KH2 as much as KH1 or CoM. I did like the improvements they made to the gameplay though. I also didn't like the story for KH2. I felt like it was trying to be a sequel for 2 games and didn't do that very well.
I still like Kingdom Hearts though, and it looks like Birth By Sleep could be more along the lines of KH1.
I still like playing as my favorite organization members in 358/2 Days.
