Nice to have a package of all the 90's retro platformers. :D Wanted to see some spin-offs though.

I've only played Kirby's Dreamland, but I had so much fun with it. If this comes to the UK I will definitely have to buy it.

That's a decent set of games.

Although I wonder why they added Kirby superStar. It's been remade on the DS and is available on the VC already. I would have preffered a different game.

Good to have the games revealed. I have Kirby Super Star Ultra, which I feel makes the original obsolete, but I can see why they would have it included. I have also played Dream Land and Adventure, but am looking forward to playing those again, and am excited to play Dream Land 2 and 3, and Kirby 64 for the first time. It does stink that there will be none of the spin-off, like Dream Course or Tilt N Tumble (that would have been a great fit for the Wii controller), but what they are giving us is still very good. I'm also glad to hear that there will be a CD included. I was hoping that would be the case since I do love Kirby's music.

Even though I haven't played Dream Course, I can certainly understand your disappointment. It would have been nice to have some more experimental Kirby games thrown in to mix things up, and that game would be one of the top non-traditional games that I would have liked to see on here. However, I'm personally more disappointed by the lack of Tilt N Tumble. I didn't really expect them to include that game on here (in fact, I didn't expect any handheld games), but it would have been such a great fit on the Wii. Also, I can easily get Dream Course from the Virtual Console, where as, even if they do release Tilt N Tumble on the 3DS' e-Shop, I wouldn't be able to get it since I don't have a 3DS. Anyway, even though I do think they could have had some non-traditional Kirby games to mix things up, I don't think there's anything really wrong with having a collection of traditional Kirby games. Of course, if you have most of them anyway, that's another story, but this collection has enough content that I don't have to make me excited for it. :D

Well I guess you would be seeing as you have a Kirby Avatar and are playing Kirby's Return to Dreamland on Extra Mode. Kirby's Dream Course was one of the Best Kirby games of them all. Even though it wasn't a platformer, it truly captured Kirby's gameplay. Online multiplayer would be great for the game using the same engine they already have. I mean it was a great game. Tilt N Tumble was good too but that one is indeed hard to find. Maybe they'll release it for the WiiU shop Channel seeing as how the Gamepad has a Gyrosensor in it that could work out great for that game. But no, I am disappointed that they left out one of the Best Kirby games traditional or nontraditional of them all. I will not support this collection.

 To be fair, while I do like Kirby's games, and love the character, I wouldn't say his games are exactly my favorites based on the ones I have played (though there are a lot that I haven't played).

And fair enough. Different people will look at this collection differently. Since I own a Wii and DS, I can still get the majority of Kirby games that aren't on this collection to play on either of those systems. I would have definitely preferred to have some of those included on this collection, so I wouldn't have to get a used copy of a lot of them, but I don't mind too much, because the games they do have are good in their own ways. I can certainly understand where you're coming from though, and am sorry you didn't get the collection you were hoping they'd make.

True, but dream course was a lot better than tilt and tumble. Maybe they could had done canvas curse with pointer controls?

Like I've said, there are quite a few Kirby games I've actually never played, and that includes Dream Course and Tilt N Tumble, so I can't comment on which one is better. I just think it would be a good fit with the Wiimote. Those were actually the two biggest non-traditional Kirby games that I would have liked to see on the collection though. Air Ride would have been third, but I didn't think that was very likely since it was a GameCube game. As for Canvas Curse, I'm honestly not sure. From what I've seen and heard, it seems like it requires very precise controls. While it might not be quite as bad, the train sections in Epic Yarn weren't exactly that easy to use, and those were slower sections.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 is not out on the 3DS' e-Shop, but whenever it is, it will probably be $4, like Dream Land. Adventure is $5 on VC ($7 on e-Shop), Dream Land 3 and Super Star are $8 (though Super Star is one of the games they're giving as a reward on the North American Club Nintendo this month), and 64 is $10. So the cheapest you could get the games (once Dream Land 2 is released on the e-Shop) would be $39.

I don't think they have announced the price of this compilation outside of Japan. It could be a bit different, and in fact, I would be surprised if it was higher than $40 here in America. If that's the case, I'd say the $1 difference would be worth it for the CD and any other extra features it may have. :P

Can't blame them considering Metroid's 25th was a year after Other M, which sparked controversy over the franchise. It would not be a good time.

May end up buying this if it's simliar to the Mario 25th Anniversary thing they did.

Can't say I need it, as I have every game on that list in one form or another. That said, I do love Kirby, and wouldn't mind having a disc version of Superstar, in case my Wii ever breaks down.

Kind of bummed that they didn't include the gba games on it or Air Ride.

Kirby's Dream Land (Game Boy) 400 points

Kirby's Adventure (NES) 500 points

Kirby's Dream Land 2 (Game Boy) 400 points

Kirby Super Star (SNES) 800 points

Kirby's Dream Land 3 (SNES) 800 points

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (N64) 1000 points

resevl4rlz

I'm thinking $30

No way it would be $50.

The Mario All Stars Collection was $30.

The points add up to 3900 wii points for downloading them individually ($39)

but since you can only buy points in packs of $10, and you can't transfer points from the wii to the 3DS, you'd actually end up spending $50, unless you already had some leftover points.

If they added a few more games,a disc with remixed Kirby music, and collectible Kirby stuff,it'd be more worth it.

Maybe i'll get it,but come on now.........there's so much more space on a Wii disc.

[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"][QUOTE="Rod90"][QUOTE="BrunoBRS"] kirby and the amazing mirror, for the GBA. it's kirby in open world metroidvania form. with 4 player co-op.

Oh, I have it on the 3DS, and sorry, I think it's terrible.

i think your mom is terrible, it's a great game.

Hey, i don't think insults are neccesary. Everyone can have different gaming tastes.
