Kirby of Metroid which series do you prefer.

I honestly love both, and can not pick one. I will give it to kirby in the end, eventhough I might have played more metroid games. I still need to play other M.

Metroid, there both great series but for overall aesthetics, gameplay, and depth metroid wins easily for me.

Metroid for me is in a whole other league. I loved the SNES kirby, but the one on N64 was SOOOOO easy and therefore to simple and boring. The new one looks interesting, but it also seems really easy and somewhat boring. Donkey Kong is where its at for 2D platforming.

i never played a kirby game... i will though soon..

however ive played 6 metroid games.. so i have to say metroid.

btw.. kirby is teh awesome in smash bros! especially the 64 one.

I prefer Metroid although I am a big Kirby fan and have been for about 20 years now :o.

i love kirby and never played a metroid game so this is easy for me to decide :P

Honestly I prefer Kirby over Metroid.

There's just a genuine charm and cuteness that Kirby and all his games have, that makes them stand out. Not to mention that there's a bunch of different types of Kirby games. Kirby Airride, Canvas Curse, Dream Land 3 and of course Epic Yarn plus all the more traditional games like Kirby's Adventure, Superstar/Ultra, Crystal Shards. I know there's more those are just off the top of my head.

Kirby games just have a lot more variety, you don't always have to do the same thing over and over in every Kirby game like you do with Metroid games. Just flying around your spaceship, scanning things, shooting everything in site gets kinda boring after a while to be honest. I do like Metroid though, just never been a huge fan of it. I guess one of the main reasons I like Metroid at all is because of Zero Suit Samus, I'll admit it :P I enoyed the Prime games more then any of the others, especially the older games. Other M is pretty good too though.

Plus Kirby has more/better characters overall. Meta-Knight and King Dedede are part of make Kirby games so great. Kirby's also better and more fun to usein all the Smash Bros games, though I prefer to use Zero Suit Samus in Brawl just because well, it's Zero Suit Samus.

I'd say he has Metroid beat :P

Metroid. I like Kirby, but to me most of his games felt a little bit too slow-paced and easy. I think Epic Yarn will improve on those areas, though.

I guess they are two sides of the same coin to me for complex heavier gameplay their is metroid, and for varied light hearted kirby.

The Kirby games are great, and really fun, but Metroid is just a lot better.
