Kirby's Adventure/Kid Icarus

I have it and enjoy it, although it is a slightly worse version of the new and updated one you can buy on the GBA.

If you like Kirby games, you won't be disapointed. 

Kirby's Adventure is the better looking/more enjoyable of the two.

Kid Icarus is for those who like a challenge, and don't get frustrated easily and throw their WiiMote into their TV and blame it on the wrist-straps....

If you've never played a kirby game, Kirby's Adventure.

If you've never played Kirby... go for Kirby, it's a lot of fun, although I personally prefer Kid Icarus.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with either one.
