On an honest note, I was getting this game anyway and it's good to see a positive review from GS of a fun looking Wii game. Looking forward to playing it.
Sounds like Klonoa will remain a classic for some time :) Must get my hands on this, and fast! Hopefully the time challenges will help the game run a little longer. The gameplay looks quick and fun.

I think the real question is: "Is it the same level of challenge as the original game?" Regardless of difficulty, if the game is the same as the original classic, it remains a classic, and is worth playing.
I read through some user reviews for the original game. The original was just as short, just as easy, just as charming. It's a classic, reborn in glorious 480p with some extra content and possibly a few occurrences of the fabled "bump-map" we see all too rarely on our beloved white box. What are you waiting for? If you like classic platformers, you can't go wrong.
Sounds like a fair review. The second Klonoa was one of the best platformers I played last gen. Great puzzles. I will definitely get this. I wonder how it stacks up against the second one?
Not too bad, but I think they could've afforded to bump the score up a little since there were only two shortcomings. Besides, those two shortcomings didn't seem to have a major impact on their score for the original. Regardless, I still plan on checking it out.
Not as high a score as i personally expected. But seeing the longivity and difficulty setting i guess it is to be expected. I'll pick this one up since it's considered a (cult?) cIassic, and judging from one video a while ago (i hate spoilers) i am bound to wuv it.
I'm sad now, because it's selling for $50 in Canada... It should be $37 if you convert $30 USD to CAD. A bunch of thieves they are...and Amazon.ca doesn't even have it in their database. I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and dish out the hard cash for it. Bummer...

Wait a minute. What do you mean "disappointing sales"? The game is in stores today. You can already tell how many copies it sold a month into the future? - The original game did not sell that well, so there is no danger of many people buying it for the second time.
Looks like a lot of fun. I'm definitely going to have to check it out. Though I'm not sure if I'm going to right away (the price does make this a bit more likely), or if I'm going to wait a while, because there are so many games I want to get.

No it's not.... Bestbuy is not the center of the world,i found it at 35$ without really looking. It's the centre of my town. Amazon doesn't have it and neither does ToysRUs.

It's not even a port, it's a remake of a fantastic game.
Plus, considering the original PSX version goes for $70-150 USD (thats about $82-$175 Canadian) on Ebay and is still worth a purchase, $50 Canadian is a perfectly reasonable price if you ask me.

I think its good they remade Klonoa; it gives people who have never experienced the game before (such as myself) the chance to do so. Besides, if it gets enough support, they may even consider reviving the series on the Wii.

But no-one's looking to buy the PSX version. It's not an option like getting a GC version vs. a Wii version. It's this or nothing, and so its price tag is not justified by any past game. $50 is not reasonable for a game that is done in less than 5 hours. That's why the American price is $30.
