I just got my wii and i was so excited that I called my mom's boyfriend to pick me up zelda on his way home from work and he told me to call K-mart to see if they had it and he would stop to pick it up (I didnt even know k-mart had games) So then I called them and asked for electronics and I was on hold for 5 minutes until they put me through to the craft section or something so then I hung up and called back and I got electronics this time and asked the guy "Do you have Zelda Twilight Princess for the wii" and he answered back "Is it like... a game?" so then i said yes then he put me on hold for another 15 minutes just to tell me they didnt have it. so I called my moms boyfriend back and told him just to go to Walmart because I knew they had it. So this just goes to show you were all the regects from walmart go. Plus i knew kmart sux, walmart never fails

P.S. If you work at kmart sorry but that store seriously does suck

Heh, you do realize, not to be mean, but K-Mart is the cheap version of Walmart, if there is such a thing.

Fred myer is better because it is a smaller company and has less stores throughout the world so they get more game and systems to each store

K-mart is the cheap trashy Target. There's a reason why they almost filed for bankruptcy a few years ago. Shopping there is depressing.

Looking at the Sunday K-Mart ad is depressing too, but sometimes its funny. They only have like two games in their ads and their either old games or over priced games, like greatest hits games selling for $30 or $40.

my wall mart is just as good ( some times better ) than eb games for games! i got most of my games there and there about 3 $ cheeper to, they also carry games like rampage and metal slug that are nearly impossible to find in this small city.

I like to buy games from a non-chain game store. It's a lot easier to find the game you're looking for and the people that work there tend to know what they are selling. I've stop going Gamestops, EB games and such, I really don't like how they push you to buy used games. And what I also hate is how you sell your games for very little, yet the sell them at really high price.

 Anyone else think so?

Personally I prefer online shops, like play-asia. I live in Australia, and sometime a game take ages to get here (Phoenix Wright got her last month, and I don't mean the sequel, I mean the one which came out in 2005). I ordered Final Fantasy III, there were 'major' stock prblems and It took them about a month to gte it to me (all other games I've ordered have been less tha a fortnight). Even with this massive delay on the game, I got it 6 months before it's release here (it's coming in May, supposedly) and cost me $20 less.

 I used to work in a department store (not wal mart... I don't live in a mobile home), so allow me to retort;

1. If you work in the department that sells video games, you should know what a video game is. I used to work in the paint department, and I had to learn everything there was to know about the products. It's called proper training.

2. During a store's busy hours, they should have extra employees of the floor. Part of customer service is to keep the customers from having to wait, whether they are on the phone or on the floor. I worked at an extremely busy store, and I can tell you not ONCE did anyone call my department and have to wait 15 minutes to get through.

3.  Yeah, wal mart is the devil  (I'll put this one in your language) ZOMG!! Damn capitalism!! WE SHOULD BECOME COMMUNISTS! LAWLZ!! Damn big business for giving us lower prices. Damn corporate america for being competitive and giving us choices!! Being able to choose lower priced products must be hell!!

I mean really.... why do I get the feeling you work in one of these kinds of stores and are one of those emplyees that just does barely enough to get by and get through another day without getting fired, then complain how much of **** the customers are because they wanted to buy something you didn't want to get off of your lazy ass and help them with because you were too busy thinking about going home and smoking a "fatty"?

Talk about depressing. I wasn't believing the obesity epidemic jazz until I went to wal-mart for a game (SSBM on sale for $20). I go to Target because it's clean, has what I want, good games on sale and there's lots of pretty girls that work there.

k-mart has bad selection for everything

wal-mart....big corporation? I dunno I personally like walmart because i've never gone into a wal-mart on a hot day only to find the air-conditioning is broke.

Sam's club is the best because you can buy a 20 pack of wiis and still pay less than you do for 1 at other stores j/k :P

and as for target...overpriced

Because they have low prices.  The average American family saves more than $1000 a year by shopping at Walmart.  Plus, liberals hate Walmart (even though they always say they're for the little guy), so that gives me extra incentive to support them.

I don't go to Walmart or Target for political reasons( I won't get into them here), but isn't "K-Mart idiots" a little redundant? This is a company that had every chance to do big business here in Ohio. They had a good location, little competition, and low prices. Store layout, selection, and customer service doomed them into bankruptcy. I'm not even sure that there is a K-mart in central OH anymore. You use to be able to drive five minutes in any direction and find one.

There is a mom and pop game store(no corporate affiliation), Toys R Us, and a few other small game stores that I spend my money in. They are competitive in pricing, don't put the corporate money into things I don't believe in, treat employees well, and always have what I want/need.

K-mart's been going downhill ever since they refused to fire Rosie O'Donnel as a spokesman after she spouted off a bunch of anti-second amendment propaganda on her TV show.  Lots of hunters and firearms enthusiasts switched from Kmart to Walmart, guns and ammo are expensive and that had to hurt Kmart.

"i didnt even know they sold games there"

^^ exactly why k-mart doesnt suck. You can buy games there that are sold out at every other possible store you can think of on launch day. Not to mention I got my wii at k-mart on launch day and i came out at 10:00 at night and there was only one person waiting other than me and my friend.

K-Mart blows! I was looking for Wii points and they didn't have any. To make matters worse, they barely had any Wii accessories there. The only choice options were a few insignificant wii games and one wii remote. A real store would be stocked up on the latest systems and games, but no such luck at K-mart.

I agree, I have gotten to where I hold a game and beat it to a bloody submission and then I may get rid of it. I onlly streamline my games once a year or so. I generally go to GameCrazy, the people are generally cooler and I can hang out there and shoot the breeze about games whereas the GameStop and EB in my area suck ace. The people are stupid and its forever to get in and out because they almost always screw stuff up.

Where I live, the Walmart is in much better shape(and more clean/organised) than KMart.  I went to K-Mart today, and there were only 5 cars in the parking lot, I'm guessing there were only 5 workers in the entire store(2 including cashiers), and the game section was cheap and sloppy.  So, Wal Mart here is much better, and more help when u need it.

Forget all "marts" go to gamestop or EBgames.
