Nintendo has been alienating the US Earthbound fans for the 13 years. All we have gotten was Naula and Lucatora for Brawl. We didn't get Mother 1+2 and we didnt get Mother 3. Heck, they even went out of their way to remove the Earthbound demo in Brawl.
huh? are you serious. Earthbound was released on super nintendo... how did they skip 1+2 if thats the case? The only reason why they "alienate" the fanbase of earthbound (mother) is because Nintendo doesn't feel that there is a market in the US for it. Look how widely popular the dragonquest franchise is in Japan and then compare in the states. Don't state something as stupid as "alienating us" without proof.

They received 2000 calls from earthbound fans a couple of weekends ago. There are also 200,000 starmen.net (Earthbound fansite) users. These are only the people who actually go about this stuff everyday. Smash bros also did a lot of advertising for Earthbound and Fire Emblem. Now they are released Fire Emblem games here because of smash bros, why not Earthbound.
Dragon Quest had most of its games localized here, Earthbound only had one and that was before Smash Bros. I am pretty sure that there are thousands, no MILLIONS, of people who bought smash bros and wonder who Ness/Lucas are.

They removed the Earthbound demo in Brawl. It was something that people would play a couple times then never use again. Why would the put effort in removing it if it was already there in the Japanese game? It made sense for Fire Emblem since the game on the Masterpieces section was never localized.

Because for one it isnt on the VC, and they put the demos on mainly to promote VC sales, and 2 a demo for that game would suck. You cant fit an RPG into a 3 minute demo, you wouldnt get to experience enough of it and the only impression it would leave is that it's an ugly game.

They did with OoT. Also, the japanese SSBB still had the demo.

Come on.... Nintendo isn't trying to get rid of earthbound purposely... ok they are.. but not like you think. It has to do
with relation. why put something like earthbound content in a kirby game for instance if have the gaming community
is younger that the SNES earthbound and knows nothing about it? Most won't relate to lucas or ness because they don't
