The warranty probably doesn't cover that so you may have to either buy a new one or open up the ds and try to fix it yourself.

if you still have the box that it came in and its in 98-100% condition just take it back to wal-mart say you dont have a reciept and say it broke and you want an even exchange for another 1 lol dont worrie you didnt need to buy it from wal-mart just trust me

haha, simmiler thing happened to me when it droped onto a concreate floor, jts get nintendo to repair it if its under warenty, tell them that the button just stoped working and try to buff out as many teeth marks as you can before you send it

I dont think nintendo will cover accidental damge even if you are still under warranty, but you may need to look at the manual that your DS came with or over the internet
