I've noticed that N64 games come far and few between on the VC, the most recent being 1080. I know this topic has been discussed before, but I'd like to go into a little more depth.
N64 games on VC in North America:
1. Super Mario 64
2. Mario Kart 64
3. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
4. Star Fox 64
5. F-Zero X
6. Paper Mario
7. Wave Race 64
8. Yoshi's Story
9. Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Earth (Japan)
10. Pokemon Snap
11. 1080 Snowboarding
Eleven games is not many compared to 59 titles on the NES, 44 on the Sega Genesis, 28 on the SNES, and 47 on the TG-16. Even the Neo Geo has 8 games, and it has only been available since October. Is this lack of N64 games due to the sheer size of the games compared to the other systems? It took me about 5 minutes to download Ocarina versus 1 minute to download DKC 2 for the SNES. Or is it more of a liscensing issue? I know Goldeneye 007 and Banjo-Kazooie are victims of this because of Rare being under Microsoft's umbrella.
I have personally downloaded Ocarina and Super Mario 64, but I would like any of the ones in the poll above. If you think there should be others, please put them in your post, and list what N64 games you've downloaded already. I think it's a great system, but it needs better representation on the Wii.
