Overall there seems to be a lack of RPGs for the Wii. Is this a problem for anyone else? Any games maybe I don't know about on the horizon? I've tried looking but there doesn't seem to be many.
There is FE: Radiant Dawn, FFF: Chocobo's Dungeon and ToS 2. This year we are getting Fragile, Arc Rise Fantasia and some FF: CC game, and sometime in the future Wii is getting the next main Tales and Dragon Quest games.
Super Paper Mario can be considered an RPG, though it has platforming elements as well.
Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors is an excellent game. It's a very fun RPG, I highly recommend it. Though it's on rails, so you may not like it.
On the VC,
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is a must have, one of the best RPG's and Mario games ever made.
It's a problem for me. There really isn't anything I'd concider an RPG out for the Wii right now. I was hoping Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn would scratch my itch, but I don't think it's an RPG after trying it (way too linear). There may be some good ones coming this year though (Valhalla Knights and Monster Hunter 3).
