Remember how there was a weird Rayman Rabbids/Mario Bros. crossover game mentioned for the Switch? Well, it appears to be a thing. And it's supposedly coming out later this Summer!

Via NintendoWorldReport.

Mario & Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is slated for an August/September release window, filling in a time-frame somewhere after Splatoon 2 but before Skyrim. It is a turn-based RPG with 2-player local co-op that seems worth mentioning.

There will apparently be 8 playable characters: Mario, Peach, Luigi, Yoshi - and Rabbids cosplaying as them. For the first time in a Mario (non-Smash) game there will be a little more violence by way of gun equipment. It also features a twisted version of the Mushroom Kingdom, melded with the world of those crazy Rabbids and their sense of humor.

While it's a shame the game was leaked, I really don't think it's going to harm anything. I mean, there has been talk going on anyway. And I have to say, this is already making me like the Rabbids a bit. I think Ubisoft at least is doing a great job of combining the weirdness of Raving Rabbids with the world of Mario and Co.

What say ya'll?

Looked up the game engine and came across this: for Snowdrop

The core of the game engine is powered by a "node-based system and the engine is a dynamic, interconnected and flexible system where developers can create their assets quickly and interact with them in ways that have never been done before.[2] Massive created a revolutionary lightning and destruction system (inspired by film production techniques) within Snowdrop engine.

Sounds pretty cool actually

It would be a strategy game and why we are not still getting Mario X Sonic. We have waited for such a long time for that game.
