Tell me what Zelda game is your least favorite. NOTE: We are not counting the Zelda CD-i games as they are not even remotely similar to any Zelda game released. (We are counting Zelda 2 thogh).

Personally my least favorite Zelda would have to be Zelda 2 as it was too hard and not really like any other Zelda. Also I have played every Zelda games other than the CD-i ones, Minish Cap, and Link's Awakening.

I agree, Zelda II is probably my least favorite. I still really liked it though.

Zelda 2 is my least favorite but it did introduce some things we often see in some Zelda games like magic.

Out of all the ones I played, Phantom Hourglass. It's an excellent game, sure, just not as good as Ocarina of Time or Wind Waker.

If I remember correctly...the first gameboy game of zelda...zelda Z? I looked everywhere for this thing and found it years after it's release...was kinda dissapointed...

I still haven't played Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, or any of the DS Zeldas, but out of everything else, my least favorite is OoT. I know everyone is going to flip out and call me all sorts of stuff for saying that, but that's just how I feel. That's right, folks... I enjoyed Zelda 2 more than OoT. ;)

Zelda 2 and Twilight Princess are pretty much tied at the bottom

If you got rid of that "here is the seizure you ordered sir" screen at the death sequences in Zelda 2 then Twilight Princess would own the worst Zelda game all by itself

Yeah twilight was disappointing, you pretty much do the same thing for hours, then you final move on. I think I would have to say phantom hour glass is my least favorite so far though.

I didn't like the side scrolling in II or the transformations in MM (though I loved the wolf in TP).

Out of the ones I played Phantom Hourglass. Playing through Spirit Tracks and what an improvement! I thought Twilight Princess was a great game, with fantastic dungeons, level design and bosses. But I was underwhelmed with Hyrule field and side quests.

I'd have to say Twlight Princess because it was the least memorable for me. I thought Twilight Princess was too much like A Link to the Past and I feel they could have made the game much better.

Twilight Princess was amazing.

It sure was

I never thought a game could make me dislike playing games but here comes Twilight Princess being so bad it made me hate gaming

It's great that you think differently but for me it's one of the worst games ever

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is my least favorite, with Majora's Mask coming in a close second.

They're both just aweful.

Definitely the first Zelda. It's good for retro purposes, but it's just not worth your time for anything else. From the 3D Zeldas, I like Wind Waker the least. Its atmosphere just didn't comply with anything I imagined Zelda to be. Apart from that it felt a bit unfinished, although the sailing element was just really, really cool.

Zelda II went way out there and jacked with the formula (and difficulty) but at least it was different and added something to the franchise.

Twilight Princess didn't do anything unique and was frankly an empty and boring world with a story/design that took too long to start moving at a good pace.

TP takes the cake IMO.

I can't believe so many people are saying Zelda 1, that's easily one of the greatest and most influential games of all time. I guess most people on here only played it recently. I'd go with Zelda 2 because it was hard as hell and obviously the rpg formula wasn't that great (though heavily influential). Twilight Princess and the DS Zeldas would be next, TP because it was the least memorable to me, and the DS Zeldas because they screwed up the overworld exploration.

Twilight Princess by far.... and I didn't care for WW either. TP still takes the cake though.

For me id say its a three way tie between: Zelda 2, Phantom Hourglass, and Windwaker. Not really bad games just my least favorite out of zelda games.

"Gee, it sure is boring around here..."

funny, even though the game was worth it's weight in feces, it spawned a branch of comedy that couldn't have been concieved otherwise.

Being an interneter, I find the CD-i series to be the most entertaining when it comes to laughing your ass off, but nothing else.

Zelda 2 was the worst but only because it felt so unlike a Zelda game. Some of the things that it tried out didn't work so well either. Not a terrible game, but not the greatest.

I played Zelda II only one time and that was many years ago..so I can't really comment on that.

From the ones that I played (and remembered), I would say Zelda I is the worst. I didn't like Minish Cap either.

Hated Majora's Mask & Phantom Hourglass. Zelda + Time = Fail. I like to take a LONG time on Zelda games, i try to get every heart & collect every chest. 1. Wind Waker 2. Minish Cap 3. Ocarina of Time

Twilight Princess. I never realized how unbelievably boring it was until the second time attempting to play through it. The first time was great because I had waited so long for this game to come out, and I was so excited to finally be playing it. When I finished it, that excitement wore off and I thought, so...was that it? My own fault for hyping it so high. But it still doesn't excuse it for such awful pacing and boring wolf gameplay.

This. I mean it has some annoyances like hyrule field, but the actual level design for dungeons and boss fights were pretty fantastic. And Im playing through Spirit Tracks right now and I am loving it. I have no problems with train, flute is a little sketchy, but there so much to do and I actually want to explore the areas (unlike Phantom Hourglass). It also got me thinking about a Zelda where the main town is kind of like Animal Crossing... What do you think?

I would have to say that my least favorite Zelda game would have to be Link's Awakening. It only takes this spot because of it's god awful difficulty at times. I've spent hours in a dungeon on this game. But saying it's my least favorite Zelda game still makes it better than most games.....

You Zelda II haters don't know what you're saying, that game is awesome, I want another platformer type Zelda with RPG elements like Zelda II, it was such a cool twist on the formula, even if it was too hard.

As for my pick, Twilight Princess, just had way too many flaws such as the bug catching and little to no innovation.

Twilight Princess. It could've been so much better.
