I really want to buy this game but i dont want to shell $50 out for it. It is almost 1 1/2 years old and i was thinking i would wait for it to be marked down to like $30. I dont wat to buy it now and hear that it is marked down a week later, so does anyone know when Twilight Princess will be marked down or have a guess?

Nintendo developed games take forever to go down in price because most of them are worth it, the same with this one, it may not go down in price until towards the end of the wii's life cycle.

Just because the game is a year and a half old doesn't mean its not worth $50 because it is. If you can find it cheaper that's great.

Don't get your hopes up that its price is going to lower. Better get it used.

First-party Nintendo games, especially ones that are Zelda or Mario, typically take years for it to be at the budget range price. If you're waiting for Zelda:TP to be at around $30, either wait for a holiday sale or hold off getting it until the next home console Zelda is released.

Stop waiting and buy it now. It will probably be a while until the price drops, so long in fact that eventually, you may crack and just shell out $50 for it, meaning that you will have the most time if you buy it now before the price drop (which will be a long time).

Buy a copy of Wind Waker instead. Twilight Princess is overrated in comparison.

It's worth 50, so just go for it. If you can get it used though for cheaper, then that's great.

Twilight Princess IS worth $50 imo. But the choice is yours. I really wouldn't expect a mark down for a "brand new never been opened" copy for quite some time. You could pay $50 now, or wait possibly up to a couple years for it to drop to $30.

Wind Waker is a great game and there are some things I wish they had incorporated into Twilight Princess but overall, TP is better than WW.

Anyway, I agree with prettymuch everyone else, it is gonna be a long time before TP goes down in price. If you can't find it used and aren't willing to wait for a sale then buy it new.

i doubt you will be able to find it cheaper any time soon... as new that is..

if you buy in gamestop and buy it used with a edge card, you may be able to get it for about US$42 and if you wait for a coupon of 20-25% off of used game.. well.. Lets just say I got NMH for 34US$ :P

I'm sure you can find it used. A great deal of people found it mediocre at best.

Yeah you can find it used...

The problem is that the used copies are $45, so you don't save much...

I paid $37 US, for a brand new copy, the place I got it from was having a special "release day" sale.
