Hi, I bought Lego Star Wars Complete Saga and enjoyed it a lot until I realized I could not die! Somehow I was in a state of All Time God Mode, and could never die. I can not even continue play if there is no challange whatsoever, but I realize that maybe this can be fixed! I do realize the devs probably did this to fit the kids, but I want to disable this, and I also do not know any kid who do not want challange in their games... Any clues? Please tell me I can change this!

sorry but what do you mean by you can't die? as in you literally cant lose those 4 hearts or you never get game over? well if you havent noticed everytime you die you lose lego studs, which contribute a lot to your overall performance as well as unlockables. I own the game too and I haven't encountered any "God Mode" problems but if its that you really cant get hurt at all then i guess i cant help.

Hi. Yes I can lose studs and hearts, but when I reach zero I turn to many pieces but spawn back again without the need to start the level over. I find it very frustrating and boring. I was playing Darth Maul stage and I could keep playing for ages just returning to life when I died. It was horrible not needing any skill whatsoever =( Please is there any way to de-activate the god mode? And if you mind me using the word god-mode because it might not be really a "god-mode", then we can call it "children-mode" =) Any clues?

um. that's how Lego Star Wars works on consoles. You can't 'die'. Instead when you blow up you lose some of the studs... which really is the only point of the game. Because of this mechanic I also found Lego star wars to be extremely boring (you already know the story). Everyone, really everyone, that can stand the game long enough, could 'beat it'. But I don't find that a positive either. The little glimmer of fun was the humor they throw into the classic scenes we all know by heart.

But my question is a legit one. In games where mortal-mode is standard, there often is cheat codes etc. that allows you to turn on God-mode. A list on games that have optional God-Mode by cheat and so and so is too long to write here. Then, take this game Lego Stars Wars, where the God-mode is the standard setting, the "Mortal-Mode" should even more likely be added some way by chaeats or ingame settings etc, since it is so rare with a game that have God-mode preset! Cheers

I don't mind the god mode. Guerrilla War-like difficulty for the win!

The challenge in the game is to try to get all of the studs, really.

So you can't "die" in the game, that doesn't mean that you can't make a challenge out of it.

Try to beat it without losing any studs, but if you don't want to do that, just sell the game.

TC, there is no way, I repeat no way, to remove the "children mode (as you call it)" from the game. It's meant to be kid friendly where they can beat the game without the threat of a game over. The Lego series games will all have this feature. Try getting through the game without dieing or try not getting hit.

yeah as the other's have said, that's how it works. But the studs are there to unlock characters, secret powers and other things(as well as get you gold bricks which unlock secret stages). So altough you may not die, if you just continue finising each stage with 0 studs just because you cant really die, then well you're not getting any of the extras. The challenge basically comes from unlocking things. But yeah, try to get through an entire level without dying. If you wanted to you could always "kill yourself* by restarting the level every time you die with 0 studs...

You could just simply quit after losing a set number of lives.

Anyone know how to save a game? My menu only has Quit, which says the game won't be saved.

Is there any way to save the game? My son leaves the gamecube on over night so he can pick up where he left off. He says it won't save.
