Just how long will this game last the first time through?

Also is there a decent amount of replay value in it?

Can you take different paths a second time through or maybe even a third time? Also  can you keep playing after the story is over?

Also, this is a story question and possible spoiler, is there a love interest for the character? Is she there for most of the story?
Just find that things like that tend to add to a games story if you are playing a single character. Thanks.

Im nice and ill post........ its pretty long with a great storyline, but the story could have been better.... For the replay value, yes its great i think anyway....... you can try to get all weapons, all stores, bomb all compounds, and my favorite part about replay is........ going on a killing spree... just kill everyone you see, get the police pissed, and try to kill all police, and run away :p!

I'm about 25 hours into it and I'm pretty much at the end. I'm taking my sweet sweet time right now though, I'm trying to get 100% (or as close as I can at the moment) before finishing the last mission. I expect the game will probably last me another 10 hours or so, and then since I'll have beaten all of it already, there won't be much replay left, at least not in that save file. It's a game I wouldn't mind playing again though, just to see how fast I can get 100%. Mind you, I'm a huge fan of the Godfather films, so I'm probably enjoying this game more than most people would.

I haven't beaten it, so I can't say from experience, but I would assume that you can continue to play after the final mission. They've got to give time for people to get 100% after all.

Is there a love interest?

Yes. But it isn't a very large part of the story.

Also, I found out that You can only get up to 3 special benefits.  As i gone negoiator on the last one, I would go Enforcer this time.

I actually managed to beat it 100%....crazy....so much time, although it was a great experience. It took me a good 80 hours. I spent a lot of time looking for all of the little extra stuff. This is a great game...and I consider it one of the must haves for the Wii right now

I'm at about 19 hrs with 22.6% of the over all game but 85% in just missions. For replay vale I think I'm going to play it again after being done.

I'm at about 13 hours into the game right now. It's definitely a lot of fun wandering around and I love driving with the nunchuck and wiimote. I'm not sure about replay value yet at this moment, but what I do like that bugged me about GTA:SA is that even if you die, you still keep your weapons. So I think this takes away from the frustration of dying and let's you go wild and do anything you want. More replay value in that aspect, I guess.

As for love interest, there is one and I'll just leave it at that right now.

i'd say first run through to become don of NYC it takes around 25-30 hours, BUT you're gonna wanna play through it again for the pure fact that you can not have full in both the skills the first run through, i'm going through again this time levelling up my operator skills rather than enforcer

I finished the Missions in about 15-16 hours, but have not even come CLOSE to 100% beating the game, because I only have 6 of 100 respect bubble things (for those of you who played GTA, that's the Godfathers equivalent of a "hidden package") And I only own about 85% of the businesses/rackets. I haven't been playing it as much since I got my DS, and I've been having to work 8 hour shifts, but I'm sure i have another 10 hours or so left before it's 100%... It's a great game that I recommend to anyone!

I've been playing for 20 hours and I've only just got promoted to Underboss. I only really have control over Little Italy and Brooklyn, and I've only taken one of the 4 family compounds. In short, I'm not even close to being done. I have no idea how people can claim to be done in 20 hours. I'm going to say 50 hours to properly beat the game and control the majority of things.

I beat Zelda in a bit under 30 hours, if you want a comparison.

I am 43 hours into it right now with about 85% of the game finished. I don't know how much longer I have to go with it. I am actually trying to take over all the businesses and take down every family. Recently, I've truck-jacked every truck I seen to make more money. I've also upgraded nearly every weapon I have. It's taking forever.
