Less Then 10 Days! Where Did You Pre-Order 3DS!? 8D

Wow! Less then 10 days till the launch of what I think is going to be, the next legendary system, 3DS!

I didn't pre - order it yet myself... lol! But I figured an interesting topic would be "Where people pre-ordered" if they did.

If I'm going to, I'm gunna do it straight at the source! Nintendo World itself! In NYC! Do you guys think you even need to pre-ordere? I honestly think we might have another Wii situation, where you won't be able to get one. AND, if the 3DS situation isn't as bad as Wii's, I think it will be because Nintendo will know how to pre-pare this time around.

I pre ordered at Gamestop.

Gamestop. I have to finish paying it off next week, may pick up some old DS titles to hold me over until a game I want for the 3DS comes out or just preorder SSFIV3D.

I pre-ordered from Amazon earlier this month. Still need to order a couple of games.

Gamestop. Tomorrow I am going to get the Super Street Fighter IV 3DS bundle w/bonus. Even though I already just have the 3DS preordered, but, mine as well get the bundle:)

I already bought mine at GS. The wait is unbearable! At least the store is open till midnight on saturday!!!!

I'll be at Gamestop bright and early, fully paid off blue 3ds with sf4 and a case kit!!

Nice! If you guys can list any perks that each place is giving for any pre-orders, that would be great!

Like I said, I havn't pre-ordered it yet, because my B-Day is a month later, and it would be a GREAT thing to look forward to for that occasion. I tried to justify waiting, because there's not that many must haves right away. Honestly though, after playing the 3DS at Best Buy, I think EVERYthing for this thing is going to be a must have!

So I'm leaning more twards pre-ordering it... lol, like I said, if you guys can state any perks you get for pre-ordering at each place, that would be great!

There both fully paid off. now for those that think your local gamestop wont do a midnight release, just call your local store, because i called mine thinking my gamestop wouldn't do a midnight because it wasn't listed as doing a midnight event. it was listed for a 9 am opening on the gamestop.com website. It turns out they had told me on the phone that they were doing both a midnight and an early 9 am opening the next day. now thats hardc0re! : )

A blue one has been pre-ordered for me, but as for from where I haven't a clue as it was ordered as a B-day gift for me.

I sent em 3 links of places they could pre-order from and i'm not sure which was picked, all I know is I got an email back saying "It has been ordered and payed for Happy Birthday! " ... If I had to guess I'd say He picked Amazon simply cause he orders a lot off that site.

Pre-ordered it from Asda at the end of January for 202 pounds. Loads of places have had slightly lower prices since then, even Asda themselves. But I got an e-mail today basically saying "Because it's cheaper now we'll refund you the difference." I hadn't looked for a while and presumed I'd only be getting a couple of quid back but I just checked and they're selling at 187 now, so that's half the price of a 3DS game right there =D bobbetybob

Dam, you Target people are lucky! I used to work at Toys R Us, and they gave NO discount for systems, as supposedly they "barely made money off of the systems, and make the money on the games". Good for you guys!

You guys think that there are going to be shortages after the launch??
