I know that GB and GBC games are already confirmed for the eShop.
And I'm almost sure that Link's Awakening was confirmed too.
But what is Link's Awakening DX??? :?
And what version will be available on the eShop?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
DX is essentially the original Links Awakening but with color.
The two most significant aspects (aside from color) is that if you entered a specfic area, a photographer would take your picture. Quite a few of these pictures were also missable so it was something new for completionists to do. Later on you could access a photo album and print off the pictures (large sprite murals) with the gameboy printer.
The second significant addition was a new dungeon where at the end you received your choice between a Red Tunic and a Blue Tunic. Depending on the tunic pick, either your attack (Red) or Defense (Blue) would go up.
DX stands for Deluxe, I remember reading it somewhere years ago. They use the term deluxe to stand for colour versions of games.
i'll assume that DX is the version they'll put up (apparently DX = colors, because i happen to own tetris DX). as far as i know, DX's only difference is that it's colored.BrunoBRS
No I think they added some new dungeon with color based puzzles.

another reason why they'll only release DX.[QUOTE="Rafandrews"]
I've always thought about DX as Directors Cut? Maybe it could be either?
No, in the official zelda website it says it stands for "deluxe". But they don't say what is deluxe about it. :P Ahh, alright, if it's on the official site there's no point in arguing about it :) And just like JPL, I have yet to play Link's Awakening, if it's released on the eShop I'll most probably buy it.i'll assume that DX is the version they'll put up (apparently DX = colors, because i happen to own tetris DX). as far as i know, DX's only difference is that it's colored.BrunoBRS

DX is for the GBC, thus more expensive on the catalogue.
people prefer colored games over black & white (well... and green).
THEREFORE.
(PS: phoenix wright needs a "THEREFORE" scream. like, seriously).
