Little King's Story: 6 minute battle video + preliminary sales results

For those of us who live in North America and still can't get this game, here is a nice long video with lots of combat. The Youtube user also has about nine other videos of him playing the game. As far as I can tell it's not an off screen camera. It seems like there might be a few control quirks that might have been handled better with the pointer, but who am I to judge? I haven't even played the game.

Also, for what it's worth, VGChartz has reported less than 5000 copies sold in the PAL region on opening weekend. And I also found this chart which claims LKS debuted at #12 in the UK sales charts. Not promising...

Thanks for the link to those videos they are nice. I don't think debuting #12 in the UK charts is a bad thing.

I really hope this game sells well, because it's a great game and it really deserves to sell. I think it's probably the best game this year so far, even beating out RE5 (although they are completely different). I've been playing for 16 about hours and I think I still have at LEAST 10 hours to go, so it's not a short game either.

this is the best rpg i've played since ps1 days and one of my faorite games this gen

trust me ;) i have 20 hours i dont regret every minute

I really hope this game sells well, because it's a great game and it really deserves to sell. i thought the same about animal crossing but i ended up loving the game.This looks better.Then again is your opinion, maybe you dont like AC either but so much people do, and thats the idea,right?nothing can appeal everyone, not MG4, nor Zelda(which to me is a bit boring too, being honest-and i speak from my own experience not other players videos). And on topic, i dont worry much about UK sales, its, a ..special market and a bit different. Is a smaller market than US/Jp, and they have different tastes. Personally i think LKS will have a slow but steady start in US and it will downright sell well in japan.

Something like 11 AAA scores and 3 AA scores in it's first 14 reviews ( average 88 ). The hype is clearly justified.

I got this game free from the nintendo stars catalogue i'm still aiting for it to arrive :( the video looks cool though.
