Littlest Pet Shop Winter & general questions

I have two questions concerning this game...

1) At the end of the game it says congradulations you got all the pets, but I still see one pet missing. It looks like a giraffe. How can I get this pet? I am missing an accessory as well, but the shop is empty. Is there a time limit for these items?

2) How can I join a party? How do I turn the wireless communications on? I said yes, but it keeps searching...

I also have a basic question. If I save a game on the DS system, can I take the disk out and put it back in will the game be saved?

Lol, well I'll try. ;) Really? I haven't taken my game out since I was afraid it wouldn't save & I would have to start over again, but it actually saves it on the disk, like a computer program?
