I'm leaving for a road trip soon, and I haven't purchased a DS game in a while, now, and I'm looking for a long-lasting game that would be playable for long periods of time. I've already done some research, and found that popular choices are games such as Elite Beat Agents, Pokemon and Advance Wars. The thing is, though, these games either don't appeal to me or aren't easily available where I live (Canada) so I had a few ideas but am currently thinking about either the New Super Mario Bros or Age of Empires. If anyone has any advice on which of the two games are better-suited to a long road trip or could suggest a better (and preferrably more recent, because it's more likely to be sold nearby) game, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help.

Age of empires is a good game for a car trip.

Pokemon is good if you don't think of it as a children's game, but a 90 hour fleshed out RPG.

Club House Games is good if you have another person in the car with you, or if you just like casual games such as bowling, a dozen of card games, darts, and a total of 42 games.

Any of the Phoenix Wright games are really good if your in to that genre. It's more like an interactive book though...

Diddy Kong racing isn't too bad and it lasts awhile.

Hope I helped...

Pokemon will keep you occupied for the whole ride and then some. And, about it not being that appealing... my cousin thought the same thing until I convinced him to buy it. He lives pretty much on the other side of the country from me, and he constantly asks me for his help.
