Everytime I play Mario Strikers online I lose the connection within three to five minutes. I have a D-LINK WBR 2310 router which had problems from the start but after some tweaking works great until I play Strikers. Also when I play Strikers online my desktop loses connection with the wireless router and won't find it until restart...which is strange because the wireless router is wired to the desktop. I have no problems using other Wii online features like shopping/weather/news channels.

Help.

Do you usually win alot? Because sometimes people just turn off their Wii's sometimes because they can't stand losing. Otherwise if everything else works flawlessly and it's only Strikers then I don't know what to tell you.

kick it.

ok seriosly, check your router is set to channel 1 or 11. without it being on 1 or 11 you shouldn't be able to connect at all (or it will only connect realy slowly), but its allways worth a check.

If you have a microwave near to your wii, turn it on and try. I know it sounds weird but aparently it works.

If all else fails, phone nintendo.

I would think that a microwave would create more interference than anything else. :?

Thanks for the ideas. I switched the channel to 1 and played two games which both ended up with a lost connection. One game was a close one so I doubt it was a dropper. Isn't funny that it always happens around the same time (before the first game ends or right after the second game starts). My desktop and my wireless router are connected by wire so I disabled my screen saver and power saver functions without any success. Later I will try to disable my firewall. I also notice that the firmware isn't up to date but the downloads on the DLink site aren't working.

Disabiling the firewall didn't work either. I still lose connection every five minutes. Anyone else have any ideas?
