Technically, still a 10.  The only thing they could mark down is graphics for not being a technical beauty but still retaining the artistic beauty.  And even then it would probably still score higher than TP lol.

Have you any clue as to how GS reviews stuff?  Have you any clue as to the VC flaws?  First off, it scored an 8 in sound because this version of Ocarina, isn't the REAL one, the gold one, with all the excellent chant musical selections, using the bastardized grey cartridge's game info to release on the VC is a crime.  Second, Gameplay and graphics have to take a hit, sure they're the same now as they were years ago when it got straight 10s.  But our standards have changed

8.9 doesn't mean Ocarina doesn't have the BEST EFFING BOSSES OF ALL EFFING TIME.

I dont see how the gameplay and sound can go down by 2 points...

If anyone was accepting anything higher but 8.9, in my humble, they were being delusional.

And with that being said, seeing how virtual console is, more or less, all about porting over original titles (which, I am in favor of), instead of putting any kind of modifications in there (i.e. Game Boy Advance, Xbox Live Arcade), unless it "original" title, personally, I do not think there should be any title that is re-release should score above 8.5-8.9 range.

I don't get VC reviews.  It never made sense for there to be reviews of games that have already been released years ago and already reviewed.  No matter what, the original impressions and scores don't change, and that's what everyone should take from this.  Meh, I guess these writers on these site gotta find something to do with their time.Tri-Enforcer
