I rented LoZ: TP on the Wii and enjoy playing it. The story is great and the gameplay is really fun. The problem is that the Wii is located in the front room of my house and I've pretty much been hogging up the gaming in my house while playing TP.

I'm thinking about buying this game for the Gamecube. Since moving the Wii into my room is pretty much out of the question, finishing the game on the GC with no interruptions seems like the best way to go.

So, what are the differences?

Pricing = no difference $49.99(new) and $44.99(used) for each

Gameplay =Controls are completely different, but the switch to the GC gamepad won't bother me.

Graphics = the screenshots look identical! are they? Will the difference in graphics temp me to buy this game for the Wii?

No difference at all in graphics.
The only diferences between the two games are the controls, the left-right flip, and widescreen

The graphics are the same, but everything on the map/screen is flipped on the GC version compared to the Wii version. I beat the game on the Wii and then helped my friend with his copy, but it was the GC version and so it was a little confusing at first, but I'm sure that you'll be able to adapt to it pretty quick.

There would be WAR if I brought the Wii into the room... haha! My kids would skin me alive! Unfortunately, that's not an option. Plus, I risk smacking my wife in the face while she's asleep.

That aside, the Wii version is definately better given the controls.

the only big graphical difference is that the two games are mirrored to each other...the maps and terrain included.

Wow umm... why don't you try READING? Then maybe you'll SEE that I haven't bought the game yet. I rented the Wii Version.

And I have 2 kids that enjoy playing the Wii as much as I do. I'm not gonnahog up the Wii just so I can play some single player game by myself. Get real!

My bad... It's been a long day. I admit that I overreacted, but even you have to agree that there is a bunch of sarcastic comments made on these boards.

Anyway... I think I'm gonna pick up the GC version tonight. So far the Wii has been pretty muchdubbed "family multi-player only console"...

Galen20K

Don't get me wrong, I love this game, but "SPECTACULAR!!!!" with all caps and 4 exclamations.

The only time a game that looked like this looked spectacular was in 2001 when FFX came out and had these graphics.

That said, the game is fun as hell, and according to some Wii-less friends of mine, it's just as fun on GC.
