why the hell didn't ninty notify lucasarts that they were working on something that would make their game better? it sure looks like they told ubi that they were making m + and that ubi should use it for red steel 2. just think of all the profit the big n and lucasarts would have gotten for making a kick ass star wars game. plus lucas announced 2 games (3 including the rumored battlefront 3) for wii since the beginning of the year. idk maybe i'm just crazy what do you guys think

well i'm guessing a good star wars lightsaber game will come out eventually, but now we'll just have to wait.

motion plus wouldnt work very well with the currently announced star wars games... hardcore fighting (seriously, it would be awesome to fight with the lightsaber, but its really hard to make the movements exactly like you want... and missing something in a HC fighter could mean losing) and a multiplatform.

by the way, ubisoft could've done like sony did when they saw the wiimote first: "holy crap that thing is amazing, we need one for us!" then sony created the sixaxis.

ubisoft probably did the same thing... "holy crap that thing is amazing, we'll be the first third party to have support to this! which game could use it... RED STEEL! quick, make someone announce wii motion+ support to RS2!"

I see your point but if lucas incorporated 1 to 1 in something like their new games duel mode and not affect the game too much if it doesn't work out it might be a great oppurtunity

im not sure if it would work very well if they just added motion plus right after it is announced. they dont know it fully yet, and that could destroy their games, which are awesome as they are.

besides, arent they going to be released BEFORE wii motion plus?

Nintendo often does this where they will anounce a big feature all the important devs will hear about it when everyone else does.

but if they told lucasarts about m + while they were early in development of that clone wars games, maybe they would release it when m + is released since clone wars would only be delayed a couple of months

Did Nintendo actually fail to mention this to Lucasarts or are you just assuming? Surely if they told one developer they would tell them all. [Edit]Lets not forget that the new Clone Wars game is clearly further into development than Red Steel 2, so it's probably too late to implement the accessory anyway.

you guys act like if it doesn't happen now it wont ever happen. Because both games were thought up way before the motion plus force unleashed started in like 05. and clone wars has to be released near the movies release. so those too games wouldnt have used the motion plus even if nintendo did tell everyone
