This isn't the Lunar you're thinking of. This is Boktai DS..Lunar is the RPG series that was on Sega Saturn and Playstation. Although the word "Lunar" in the title may mislead you into thinking it's from that series, it isn't. This is a Hideo Kojima game..
I keep almost buying this game. I just bought Sonic for the Wii today, but I think i'm going to return it tomorrow (it's unopened) and pick up Lunar and if they have it Izuna.
By the way, i know it's like the Boktai games. I never played one though. Plus I have played Lunar games before. What I meant at the start was I never played a Boktai game.

I know you keep saying that you have held it in your hands at the store about to buy it several times and couldn't get yourself to pull the trigger, but I guarantee you aren't going to be sorry Yoshi. It's definitely worth the price of admission. :P

Yeah.. I was a little iffy about it at first because I never played the Boktai games, but then I saw all the stellar reviews and decided that I had to pick it up. It takes a little bit for it to start to pick up, but as soon as you get to the point where you can play using both of the characters in tandem it really starts to get fun.
I think my only real complaint is that it takes a little while to get used to moving the characters around on the Lite. I kept finding myself running and wasting my energy when I didn't mean to at first. I didn't agree with Gamespot and EGM complaining about the space battles though. I actually loved the way the space battles play. I don't feel that they're "clumsy" at all.
All in all, I think it's definitely my best purchase for the DS since Portrait of Ruin.
My bro kept on pushing me to buy it but I wasn't sure since I didn't take much interest in the game. But the instant I started playing I couldn't stop really just couldn't stop.
Whats the Gameplay really like? Something turn-based or kinda like real-time turn based? Or something like Children of Mana, where you can run around and attack at will?
